Seems the Origami Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) spec from Microsoft is really inadequate in the real world. Low life batteries - 2 hours is not good enough for a tool you need to tote all day (imagine if a cellphone only lasted 2 hours on a charge!) Also by all accounts the general Windows apps don't perform well in the smaller space of the UMPC.

Guess I will keep on working in my Moleskine - gravity proof, works in all conditions and the power never fades - yes 'memory' fills up but it's easy enough to get another!
